PTG Insights: Julia, the high-flyer
17.09.2024 | Peiner Träger GmbH
Today we would like to introduce Julia Siemens-Pecher - a real high-flyer at Peiner Träger GmbH (PTG)! She has been working as a Supply Chain Management Officer for the company since 2023 and took over from Manfred Heß as Head of Logistics Control and Supply Chain Management in September. She is intensively involved in strategic issues of logistics optimization.
"I have a lot of creative freedom. I also like the down-to-earth attitude of our team and the fact that we openly discuss all kinds of ideas," says Julia, emphasizing how much this creative and open exchange within the team motivates her to develop innovative solutions.
With her motto "Let's get s*** done!", Julia is determined to tackle her new challenges with the aim of making the site's logistics fit for the future and more sustainable. Her strategy focuses on digitalization issues as well as classic logistics topics such as short-distance concepts and warehouse layout adjustments. "In any case, I will be getting a colorful bouquet of challenges," says Julia with anticipation.
Her diverse responsibilities include the management of outbound transportation, internal plant logistics, and supply chain process design. She is committed to making the Peine site fit for the future.
In her free time, Julia stays true to her creative side and pursues new projects - whether in the garden or taking drone photos of the surrounding area. And her perfect start to the day? It starts with a hot coffee on the train on time - which usually works.
We are delighted to have Julia on board and look forward to our shared successes and the future we will build together.
