Successful initial certification of the environmental management system

In only four months Peiner Träger GmbH has established an environmental management system in compliance with the internationally valid standard ISO 14001 for the steelworks and ancillary processes (Engineering and maintenance, media management, engineering planning and new constructions, civil engineering, purchasing, spectrometer laboratory, human resources, work safety and environmental protection) and has now been certified by an independent certification authority.

The certificate for the successful introduction and implementation of the environmental management system was issued by the Det Norske Veritas certification authority (DNV Zertifizierungs- und Umweltgutachter GmbH). DNV praised the commitment of the employees and acknowledged the good result of the initial certification process.
